Using Digital Communications To Tell The Important Stories Of Your Agency
U.S. Forest Service

The U.S. Forest Service recently completed the rollout of a communications plan for a statewide heritage project on public lands in Alaska. This plan introduced new digital communication channels to assist them in delivering their most important stories to their audiences. In order for the plan to be a success, they had to decide on what platforms to be used for each piece of the “conversation” and how to successfully move traffic from one piece of content to another.

This thought provoking session will walk you through the process of determining what important information to share, how to drive interest and what conversations occurred as a result of the campaign. You will leave the session equipped with the knowledge needed to use digital communications to tell your most important stories, including how to:

  • Choose digital and social platforms that will work best for you and your agency
  • Drive traffic and interest from one communications piece to another
  • Create a complete “conversation” or story with the use of your communications platforms
